Engagement

    Reach

Reach is the number of distinct accounts that have viewed your content at least once. It is the cleanest measure of audience size and is the metric brand sponsors care about most. Reach divided by follower count is the 'reach rate' and sits around 25–35% for healthy accounts in 2026.

Reach matters because it's the denominator behind every other meaningful metric: engagement rate, follow conversion, profile visits and click-through rate. If reach drops, everything drops with it.

On Instagram, reach is split between followers and non-followers. The non-follower share is the 'discovery reach' and is the algorithmic reward for engaging content. Most viral posts cross 60% non-follower reach.

Reach can crash overnight if your account gets soft-banned (shadowbanned), so it's the first signal to monitor after any major change - including follower or engagement purchases. A real-account provider will never cause a reach drop.
